PROJECT: Editorial

The aim for this design was to reflect the culture and personalities of both Japan and those who practice the material art of Shotokan Karate.

​

The book was bound using French fold pages and stab binding, wrapped in buckram fabric with an inlayed metallic plate.

​

Layout design and typography was selected specifically to create an element of precision and reflect the character of Japan.
